Make sure the selected mod is compatible with the game you want to add it (ATS or ETS2). The mod must be compatible with the latest version of the game. Locate the download button and download the file (.zip , .scs)

Locate the downloaded file(s) on your computer. (The file(s) must be a .zip or .scs in order to work properly.)

Locate your Mod folder within the game files. (Documents → American Truck Simulator OR Euro Truck Simulator 2 → mod) If you do not have a folder called mod, simply create one (→ right-click → Create new folder → name it “mod”).
*Note that this mod folder is only used for local mod(s) file(s).

Double click the "mod" folder we just created, once you are in, simply drag and drop (or copy & paste) your .zip OR .scs file inside the folder.

Great, your mod should now appear in the mod manager within the game (ATS or ETS2). Open your desired game, click on the mod manager icon.

Find the mod you want to activate within the mod manager. Once you found it, double click to activate it. (The square should go from grey to green, meaning the mod is active)
